infrastructure

Surrounded by significant existing industrial development with potential for further growth, Pinnacle on Progress neighbours the $700 million mixed-industry business park, Metroplex Westgate.

There are also large-scale completed and planned transport infrastructure upgrades to surrounding major roads and train stations.  Existing and future infrastructure upgrades include:

  • Metroplex Westgate is currently in the construction and delivery phase, and on completion will deliver a $700 million mixed-industry business park.

  • Stage 4 of the Progress Road upgrade between Boundary Road and the Centenary Motorway - to increase road capacity from two to five lanes - was completed in late 2018. These works include an upgrade to the signalised intersection directly in front of and benefiting the Pinnacle on Progress site.

  • The Progress and Boundary Road intersection has been upgraded, including construction of Boundary Road Bridge across Bullockhead Creek, which was completed in 2012.

  • The Department of Transport and Main Roads has undertaken traffic studies to upgrade the Progress Road and Ipswich Motorway Interchange.

  • The Wacol Train Station is strategically identified as a planned growth node under the 2014 Brisbane City Strategic Plan.

  • The Richlands Train Station Upgrade - completed in 2011 - included a bus interchange upgrade and 650-space park and ride facility.
